Dave - I think the issue is that the cookie 'life' is too short (e.g., a few minutes or maybe an hour). Maybe the cookie expiration just needs to be changed.

I think that's part of the problem and our tech guys increased the expiration time. There is some other issue as well I think that contributes to the issue (coookies for different apps, etc).

We're well aware of the logout issue folks and will get it fixed. The tech guys get a holiday just like everybody else so you'll have to hold tight for a couple of days please.

FYI, at work today, I wasn't logged in, so I tried to login from the forums page, and each time it said thanks for logging in then redirected me back to the forums page where it showed I wasn't logged in again. I was eventually able to login by going to the private messages page.

Maybe a problem because we have a proxy server?

If you can login eventually, it shouldn't be a proxy server. Unless you change some setting in your proxy server. We'll keep an eye on it and see if there is anything to do with our server.

We're currently looking at the cookie issue as well. We'll keep you posted.

Thanks,

Alex

I noticed this today at work too. It took me a couple of tries to login intially but once I did get logged in I didn't need to do it again, , even if I did exit out of the window (like before). At home, I have to log in everytime I go on CL, sometimes even if I don't close out the window.

At home I use Mozilla FireFox, at work the browser is IE. Does that matter?

Attaching a pic is still a problem that is being worked on. You can, however, upload to the gallery and link to it in your post.

It's definitely a problem with CL. Don't have a problem with any other site at home or work.

Bit, mine acted up today and I did this and it's fixed.

Delete cookies, go to one of your email notification links and click to site on that. Click to reply to thread. When it asks you for login info, put it in and uncheck and then check again the box on that page that says remember me.
