umm Can't you be banned from CL for joining just to spam a website that you are probably affiliated with? This same Netlover spammed an IDENTICAL message, with the capital K in "checKout" over at digitalpoint forums as well. Even in that forum, it is his first post with a join date of October 21, 2005.

Edit: He also spammed the message at a forum on www.figures.com , also with an October join date and 1 post only.

Yes you can. Sometimes we like to put them under the magnifying glass in the bright sunshine before using the ban stick For example, I added the spammer above's URL to the censor editor so it can never be typed on CL .

Hehehehehehh....Good 1 Dave!!Also seeing a lot of noob posting stuff for sale lately..Maybe lurkers signing up finally but maybe keep an eye on that..Maybe a minimum post count before being able to sell??

We do that on a case by case basis, depending on how big the item is, the registration and IP information we have on the seller and other considerations - especially for 1 post sellers.

We do have some 'rules for a safe transaction' posted as an annoucement in the classifieds that sometimes get buried. Any suggestions for augmenting those appreciated.
