why is the ClubLexus website so slow?(since yesterday)

Every other website is fine and accoding to my speed test
are from 15mbps to 16mbps down, 3mbps to 4.2mbps up.

At first I thought maybey my cable company's server has problemes connecting to ClubLexus.

However, I tried to access ClubLexus from my office computer(35 miles away, 30mbps FIOS connection) It is just as slow from my office computer... Every page took like 5 to 10 seconds to load...

Thanks for any info!

(moved) Please post questions such as these here in the site suggestions forum

CL experienced an outage last evening when a UPS failed and caused an unplanned outage at our database server location.

Since the server was restored, it's definitely been slow. I reported the performance issue this morning to the tech folks.

...and went down last evening to fix the errors that were causing the performance issue.

Sorry folks!

Yes, it was actually saying something like "database error".

When the power went out on the server it reset or corrupted something in our setup that seems to keep causing a recurring issue.

Our technical staff has been working on it full time, we hope it's solved now (but that's happened before over the last two days).

Signed,
Cautiously optimistic

ps sorry for the up / down folks, we hope to have it fixed soon.

Dave,

Some of the old (thread) links aren`t working anymore (in my browser bookmarks).

Is it because the tech did a database backup when upgrading the server?

PS: I did clear my cookies.

Dave and others --

The CL site is still painfully slow for me. It took me almost 3 minutes just to make this post. I've checked other sites (like ebay, for example), and it's fine, so I don't think it's my computer.

I'm experiencing some slowness connecting to the site.

CL had been the benchmark for all the forums I have. Click and boom, it was on screen. Now a click is taking from 3-30 seconds before a page is loaded. Some times are better than others. A post I put up a moment ago, it took about 25 seconds to get the preview.

Edit: this post roughly timed at 15 seconds before clearing.

Temporary... I turned it off (more than a month ago ) to conserve resources so the forum would run faster.
