But what if they are relevant to today. Why take them down?
Instead of making a WHOLE new thread with the same question. Like romnil's 45post up15 k from 2 years ago. Or Mike still making polls almost weekly LOL...
Its not like it was useless threads that had no significance to today. Like maybe a thread on Bostons Game 7 win which was something I care across while searching.
That is where my confusion lies.
Hopefully my questions are not taken as trying to be "difficult" or not "listen to a moderator".

When you bump that many at once, you are pushing down relevant topics that are current. Keeping the forum clean and not stagnant is difficult when we have a ton of threads brought back from over a year ago that have already been beat to death. They get bumped and 9 times out of 10 you will have 2-3 people add their comments and it will get sunk again tieing up space where people would like their CURRENT topics to be seen or their questions answered.
Bumping the fast food and what do you collect threads are not necessary, topics run their course and fade away.
If a thread is that great that it needs to be ongoing or is always getting bumped, you will find it in the Hall of Fame sub forum.
That is my perspective, some other mods may have other opinions but the consensus seems to be that we don’t need to bring all those old threads back, especially all at once.
I hope that helps a little.

I locked them... voting on an old poll or two is absolutely fine especially when they are still topical , but as J.P. says dragging up a large volume of them and clogging the current conversations isn't.
The McDonalds poll was the best of the bunch, closely followed by what's your favorite meat.
