It's nice that the forum will be probably moved to a better server and get software updates more frequently.
The only down side is for the advertisers on this site. I'm sure the fees will go up since IB will be running it.

I've asked that same question of IB. There are no rate increases planned for any CL forum sponsorship or advertising. Of course there is no 'constant' in these thing no matter who owns what... Club Lexus vendor rates went up at the beginning of 2007 with Ethan as owner.
As the market changes at some point in the future the rates may go up or go down. The moderator team and I have communicated clearly to IB the importance of our CL vendors to the community and I feel very comfortable "they get it".

Well, I'm not too sure how I feel about this move. I can understand why the move would be made, but I still don't know if I agree with it. I guess it falls under the category of fear of the unknown. I'll hold my judgement on the purchase/sale until more of the changes start to surface... but let's just hope that no one comes in and decides to mess with the formula.

Being that Internet Brands has no automotive bias, there really is nothing to worry about it. Think about it. This site has been owned by Internet Brands for some time now.. Nothing has changed...

i cant live without CL nowadays
so ill need to plan something to occupy myself when those days come
so any big changes to CL that affects us members?
any ETA for the new decals? local vancouver chapter of CL needs some promotional items to get ppl to come out to meets!
