Service I had with them took about 2 weeks or so complete turn around time, maybe 1.5. Overall was a good job. I have to send in one of my needles though, because it crapped out on meh .

The car runs fine without the cluster.

A friend of mine used their services on his 92 SC300. All the lextech needles burned out within a few months. Lextech offered to repair the unit again but he never took advantage.

they repair just like OEM or just replace the smds with one led in the center ?
I don't like that faded look, I like OEM with solid illumination through out .

Wasn't the needles, it was the car. SC's burn 4 tail lights, 2 brake lights, 2 cornering lights, two head lights, 2 city lights, two side marker lights, and two turn signal lights when stopped at a stop sign at night making a turn. This doesn't include the rest of the electrical system, the A/C and the stereo. Especially if you have an aftermarket high draw amp and a system. If it's raining.. add another 10 amp burst every two seconds for wipers.

Imagine the amp draw......

Then you let off of everything at once and take off...... *boom* voltage spike. If your alt is old (and most of them all are) the regulator won't absorb the spike. Most Sc's do a good job, but just like the window regulator, or the PS pump, or anything else...... it can start acting up anytime it wants to. First thing that goes is the led's which have a tiny silicone gate in them, then the micro bulbs in the climate which is what kills them. That's why I used 14v climate bulbs back in 2004 when I started messing with them. You can't spike something built to ride above the voltage potential.

Some people see the spikes, some don't. They are all the same car, but none are at the same performance level with the age factor. Brandon simply bumps the resistors to absorb the spike if you prove to have a car prone to them. Fixes it right up.

Big thanks to Lextech.org

They sent me my cluster overnight for me due to me being in a bind.
overall the needles cost me $116 shipped... maybe a little more, but since there is really no other option thats a great price.

+1 for Lextech.org
