I've gotten a friend request, and denied it, yet it still says "1" in my notifications box (top right).
How do I clear that?
I tried denying, un-checking the box, etc.. Nothing works.

Could you please set my thing back to normal, and delete that person
I unfortunately denied, from my list?

Unfortunately not something I have access/ability to "clear". Two thoughts:

1) There is an extra step that I often miss when I get random friend requests from people I don't know from Adam and do the same thing. I don't have one in my inbox to deny but if you want to send me one I'll test it and let you know the steps. If I recall correctly, you do have to either check or 'uncheck' the incoming friend request box and then click on deny/reject button.... it's counter-intuitive

2) delete your internet browser cache / cookies if that doesn't work, perhaps something got corrupted.
