I was on clublexus in the clubhouse forum looking at the Facebook Fails, and I also had multiple tabs open (some other clublexus threads, autospies, and yahoomail).

I was actually on my yahoomail page and I noticed my clublexus tab had the blue circle like its thinking/reloading a page. The next thing I know, the facebook fail page turns to some site called TrustSoldier which after some research is new today, Oct 9th 2009. It was a page that told me to download the proglem (a fake virus scan) with some pornography on the page as well. Currently scanning my with spybot and McAfee.

Probably has no relation to club lexus but just wanted to be sure.

What browser and what platform (Mac/PC) are you using?

I use Safari on my Mac and never have any problems with that kind of stuff.

The only time I noticed spam banner ads, or anything of that nature was when I was on my gf's PC.

I haven't seen it but will keep my eyes open. There should be absolutely no popups on Club Lexus (although sometimes IB accidently enables them on somehow and I have to request them to be turned off) and definitely nothing changing the page.

Definitely do the scans you suggest
