When browsing through this forum, I frequently get an IE pop up saying it blocked an attempt to download a file and to click here to views options

IE says "To help protect your security, Internet Explorer blocked this site from downloading files to your computer. Click here for options."

What's the site trying to down and how do I turn it off....

We do use cookies to record your login info, read threads, etc. but don't try to push files to your PC.

I suggest doing a thorough virus and spyware scan on your PC just in case something malicious is lurking.

JP, I was aware some folks saw a strange popup survey earlier today (still need a screen shot and / or URLs if anyone sees it again) but nothing about downloading files. Can you direct me to those posts please? Thanks

TripleL had the issue so did neurocity who I think has a screen cap of whatever it is.

Hey Dave, I was getting it on 2/2 and then it stopped 2/4. It started again tonight, it wants to download something to my desktop.
