Default PM Message error Part 2

I posted earlier about an error when receiving a PM and attached a picture of my debugger's error message. I got no error over the past few days and actually recieved the message that I had a PM, but there's a new error now when I get a PM. See attached:

I often get the same error when I first sign into CL.

Dex,

I just press the 'No' button. Even shorter term resolution.

Yeah, but how many times do you push 'No' a day?

I don't mind the error...I'm just posting problems in the Site Suggestions and/or Problems forum in an effort to make CL as error free as possible.

The "short term resolution" suggested doesn't allow me to assist Ethan in cleaning up the new install. Clean, error free code is a beautifully boring thing.

Turning off my debugger resolves no problems on this site, eh?

You guys are talking about while you are logged in to CL and youget the pop-up notification, right?

I got one last night (the pop-up notification) and all was fine with mine.

PW, I was unaware you were helping out CL. Debug at will!

I used to get a POP-UP window to notify me when I got a PM. Now after the site has been re-done I don't get it anymore. And I checked my USER CP options, it's still enabled. What is going on?

That is what I am talking about; mine still works. I think it is a configuration on specific browsers.

Yeah, we didn't think it through when we designed the site

CL isn't really compatible with any other browser except for Internet Explorer.

In our next design, we will specifically make sure it is ok with every browser.

Sorry about it.

Running IE 6.0 here and it doesn't work. The error message discussed is what is displayed instead.

No hassles, given some time I'm sure it will be fixed.

See, I'm *am* using IE6, and no problems whatsoever.
