Please Try Your Search Again in NINE YEARS
Check out my new error:
"The following errors occurred with your search:
This forum requires that you wait 3 seconds between searches. Please try again in 277796726 seconds."
That's 9 years. Tried other browsers. Nothing. Keeps coming up that I have to wait 277 million seconds.
This will definitely put a hurting on my searching.

Which search box do you get the message for - the new red one at the top of the forum or the traditional advanced search?
Anyone else having this problem? Not happening for me.

LOL Dave I'm a patient guy but 9 years is pushing it.
It happens in all boxes, no matter where I try to search. In Chrome and IE.
If I log out, it works fine. If I log back in, 9 year sentence.

Since I can't replicate it will look for other members to chime in.
In the interim, can you please log out, whack your browser cache / cookies, log back in and try it again?

Robb, I've seen something similar to this in the past based on an error with database server date settings but that would impact everyone.

Hey Dave, yeah, my first thought was something like that, but it would definitely be affecting more of us. CleanSC is in the same timezone as me and everything. I will have our tech team investigate this first thing when they arrive in the office.
I'll report back once we have some more answers for everyone.
cheers,

The issue seems to be with incorrect time of last search stored in the database. I checked the database and found that 124 users have their search time in future (after July 2020).
We have updated the search datetime for these users to current datetime. This should solve the issue.
It is hard to identify when the issue exactly occurred because we don’t have any searches immediately before and after these searches. However, looking at the searchid and considering an average of 200 searches per hour (this number of searches in last 1 hour) this issue must have occurred at least 3 years ago.
