Default Why 30 days to sell on the forum?

I want to take my lexus back to stock, and would love to sell some aftermarket parts....but its so hard on here...whats the deal? I have a corvette, and the vette forum doesn't have all these conditions and runs smoothly. just wondering? Anybody feel like sponsoring me?

Yep - Mike nailed it. Way too many of our members getting ripped off by somebody just joining to dump a sale and run.

As far as somebody 'sponsoring' you, you will need an established CL member to vouch for you to sell high dollar items. Asking blindly in posts like this isn't appropriate.... needs to be someone you personally know or have done business with. They are putting their ability to buy/sell at risk by vouching for you if something goes wrong with your transaction.

yeah, I need a vouch in a few weeks. If you buy with credit cards, you'll have protection by doing a charge back. Thats good enough for me. Anyways, yeah I need a vouch, and how in gods name am I supposed to get that. I just want to take my car back to stock.

Stick around for the next few weeks, post pics of your car, get involved. Build some rapport with the forums. Most things will only need a vouch if they are over $500. Going through paypal and ACTUALLY paying the fees should be good.

If you don't like our rules - which exist to make this a safer place to buy and sell for our members - then you can always sell your stuff somewhere else (craigslist, ebay, other forums, etc).

Hey Guys I have a friend wanting to sell his SC400 with a 1JZ swap, I think he is still within his first 30 days or something?

Would he be able to post it now with me Vouching for him?

I have bought and sold pretty much all my Lex's on here over the last few years with no issues from other members buying or selling..

I know we are not allowed to posts "Friends" cars for sale, that's why i was asking if he could post himself and i just vouch for him, he is local to me..

Thanks

BENFTW is his username btw..
