It would be cool if this site has IM or real time Chat features. There's lots of time when I want to contact a certain member when they are online but there's no features to do that.

there use to be a chat a long time ago but it was removed cause it wasn't being use much. do you know of the PM feature?

I know there is the PM features but that doesnt seem instantaneous. We need that instant message features.

Click on the profile button at the bottom of any member's post. If the CL member has chosen to list their IM information in their profile (three types), you can use that detail to contact them in their preferred IM format.

A prior version of ClubLexus actually had IM icons on the left (under number of posts) if that info was listed, but I don't see that any longer. Some people, however, do not wish to be contacted with IM's - and shouldn't have to respond to them if they don't want to.

I have a small IRC network that people could logon to and talk. Ethan could even point Irc.ClubLexus.com to if he wanted or setup a web based IRC client to connect to it. Anyway, just thought I would offer the service if anyone was interested.

I still use IRC It's the only way to get good quality mp3's and is least likely to be brought under the RIAA scope. Let em go after Kazaa for all I care, always have IRC. An IRC chatroom for Clublexus would be great IMO.

I liked the old chat on the old CL, I chatted with a lot of people in there.

how about having an im system where you can invite the person you want to talk to into an im session. Just make it so there is a subject for why you want to talk to them. That way the invitee can deny or at least see why he is being summoned.
