Need some more details to help. How are you accessing CL? What device, OS / versions.

Can you get a screenshot of the pop up?

I suspect that he/she is talking about the "ask a question" CL pop-up in the lower right hand corner of the screen. I believe that it occurs if you are not logged in.

For what it is worth, I find it to be quite annoying, too. And, while I think it would not pop up if I was logged in, there are times when I just want to read posts and would prefer not to log in.

Yeah, can't help you there. Need to log in to get rid of those. Or run an adblocker.
