Yes, people who do post a lot care about their history. For example, if I made a post about something six months ago I want to be able to go back and find it as a reference or to share with another member. Members who have been here for some time really have a persona attached to their screen name.... changing it to another one someone else used isn't something they'd be likely to do.

For a new user, however it might be useful! Tell you what, I'll delete your account since you won't be using it and someone else can sign up if they want. Sound OK?
