Difficulty Editing Profile Settings

I'm having difficulty changing my profile picture and editing my signature. Any edits are not saved. Could this be due to iMac with OS Catalina? New confuser. Any "how to's" appreciated. Ray A.

It looks like you've changed your profile picture potentially (guessing by subject matter with masks)

Is that what you updated?

I recently joined and cannot find any signature options. That link say's I'm not allowed? Sure makes it easier in a discussion for others to know what model I have?? Why is this?
