Just wondering if you want to meet up that weekend. I'm not entering my car in the show because cruising the strip is cooler i think. Plus phase II hasn't even started yet, all i have is a mechanical goodness, no bling . I am covering the event for a local publication (downshiftonline.com) and i'd like to sneak a few Lexus shots in there. I'm staying at the oceanside inn 2 miles south of the plaza. Lemme know

Damn, I missed this thread. It was good to meet ya Matt. Nice car. Where were the rest of you guys at?

 

I stayed at the Perry Resort on 21St. and Atlantic Ave. The Hotel was nice but it was a little far from the action. I barely slept that weekend, went to the beach all day and drove in the sand then drove down the strip all afternoon until the clubs opened. I had fun. Maybe next year we should all meet up and maybe rent together or something.

Hey Wide, I saw your car a few times around Daytona. At one point, I pulled into
the Wendy's you were parked at looking for the owner. A few guys standing by
your car said that it was there for a while and didnt know who the owner was.
Oh well, maybe next time.

 

I wasn't standing by my car. So none of those guys was me. I was walking around filming and having fun

 

Yeah thats what they said. They were saying it was parked there for a few
hours. The funny thing was, there was a huge crowd around your car, but
it was because some $2 ***** was showing her lips for beads and
money.
