You know thats right, hopefully we'll get a chance before then. But at least I will hopefully have learned to drive with that LSD by then.

Yeah, I want to come down so badly. The drive down from Canada last year just about killed me

I don't have the ***** to do this 14 hour non-stop drive to NC from Mississauga, Ontario again......

Aside of the fact it rained all day Friday AND Saturday................... It was a great meet. Everyone still drove and had a great time.

All the Lexi came home in one piece and it was a blast. Nice to meet everyone.

Default Yeah!

This meet was a blast! I came home Saturday night. My friend Eddie, with the Audi A6, wanted me to thank everyone for their hospitality. He especially enjoyed Jeff and Krista doing the mini driving clinic and all the great "car talk" overall. I want to thank everyone for a great time, too. So nice to just hang out with like-minded people and enjoy an exhilariting drive in such beatiful countryside. Oh, and the raffle prizes were awesome too

I had a blast. It was great to meet all the OG's and the new Dragon Slayers. We got 23 cars this year.

Driving the Dragon's in the rain is something wicked in a cool way. I left my transmission in 4 th( less HP and less TQ) vs last year in 3rd( more aggressive).

A big thanks to Jeff( Dave's friend) and Krista( Dave's GF) that gave us a good 30 minutes driving lesson before we hit the Dragon's.

I'm waiting for Dave to post up a write-up or a new thread. What do you think?

Here is some teaser pic. I'm sorry if the picture is not too good. I have to compressed it from 1 MB to less than 100 KB.

It was great meeting everyone! Dave, Jeff, Krista, JJ, Josh, and all the rest of you. I had an absolute blast! I can't wait to go back I didn't get enough! DID get a t-shirt though. All the cars were great! IS's OWNED the dragon this year. Way to go guys, glad you all came out!

PS - We will have more info on O's grandfather hopefully in the next day or two. He is doing ok but they are having to keep a close watch on him.

We just made it back home. We had an absolute blast! I was thrilled to finally see for myself how the IS handles and more importantly, how well I can handle. It was great being able to incrimentalize my speed through the Dragon until I got comfortable enough to hang with the big boys on Sunday morning...that was crazy!!!

The only good thing about the rain is that it gave me the chance to find out how the car handles in both wet and dry conditions. I feel much more comfortable with driving my car and feel that I am now a safer driver due to the great class I received from Jeff and Krista then all the hands on experience.

BTW, I ended up getting a mere 13mpg with the tank I used to drive the Sunday morning drive But then on the way home I got 25mpg which made up for it. Considering it was only 70 miles of hard driving Sun morning, I guess the MPG could have been worse.

Anyway, it was awesome meeting everyone. As usual, the crowd was very friendly, down to earth and sociable. I hope to see as many of you as possible at NOPI in a few weeks.

I'm already looking forward to next year!

Glad everyone made it home OK! Our group did as well, no incidents or tickets.

We did have a little fun with a jerk BMW 528 driver who was tailgating Krista. Let's just say I used my radar gun to slow him down

I'll start a new thread and get pics uploaded tonight and post a few of them on CL and IS300.net.

Thanks everybody for a great time, good meeting many of you for the first time and hope to see you again next year if not sooner (without the rain hopefully).
================================================
Edit - here are some in process pics for those of you that can't wait

I'll add a writeup tomorrow as well and more pictures and some short videos. Here's a preview of some of the pictures. Meet participants and prior year participants can IM me for 'people' pictures from the event.

These are still uploading, at the end there will be 284 pics in total in this folder. I did a quick and dirty license plate cleanup, but haven't fixed and duplicates or orientation, etc.

Thanks again to everybody for coming!
