$2000? Damn. I wouldn't even buy a car if the insurance was going to be that much.
I pay $800 100/300/100 full coverage, and I'm 34 with clean record; of all my past vehicles (Corvettes, pickups, SUVs), I've never paid more than $900 a year.
The cheapest I could find, hands down, was The Hartford, so I've been with them for five years. Great company, worth looking into.

I pay about $700 per year (total) for both my GS400 and LS400. It was about $550 per year I think for just the GS. I have comprehensive on both (although they're both paid for) through Erie Insurance.
Clean record, 38 YO.

I pay about $800 per year. I have a relatively clean record. I am with State Farm. My durango was broken into about 8 mths ago and they stole pretty much my whole system, which was around $6k. They replaced everything and I even got to upgrade a few things. That is how it should be done when you pay all this money for insurance but I know in most cases dealing with them is nothing but a headache. So I was glad not to have to go through that. Good luck in your search for insurance. Oh, im 25
