Good job to Dave and all those that made the drive. What a great event !
Wish I could have hung out longer before my hall pass expired.
Everyone was really cool. We have a lot of people who really know their stuff. It's good to see some local knowledge.

It's gonna take me a couple more meets to learn everyones real name !

Just got finished with license plate edits and am uploading pics to my website gallery now. Some good shots in there - I typically take the tact of take 5 or 6 shots when you see something you like and one or two will turn out good. I left all of them in here, didn't really cull the mediocre pics.

Great meeting everyone, wish the weather were a little warmer but the turnout for the first Charlotte meet in a while was GREAT. Thanks for coming, gives me hope that we can do some bigger meets in the SE NC area. After I counted (hope I didn't miss anyone) we had 22 cars turn out, 17 Lexus!

Thanks (once again) to Dave who orchestrated another world-class ClubLexus event. I enjoyed seeing old friends and making new. What a great turnout, I only wish my nephew's 1st birthday party could have been a little bit later in the day so I could have enjoyed the lunch and drive! I look forward to seeing you all at next months (hint hint hehe) Charlotte event.

Congrats guys on a great meet! Wish I could have made it up from Atlanta. Dave's a born leader isn't he? Hopefully some of you can come to the next Dragon or some other meet where I will get to meet you.

And I hope you have many more meets in Charlotte. Me and *1* other guy (csr on here) represented the first meet here in Atlanta (Jan 2001), so you gotta start somewhere.

That's from August 2001... searching for it made me realize that I don't have ANY un-modified pictures of my car. By the time these were taken, I already had started the madness:

Borla Exhaust
L-tuned grill and skirs
Bilstein / Eibach
SRT intake
Torque converter
upgraded to 17 OEM from 16" OEM
removed tan pinstripe

I wish I had a baseline to show the various stages 'from' 'to'. Oh well, guess there is always photoshop

Oh, and I'd like to do at least one more event before end of year if anyone is interested.

Thinking something less organized and publicized, maybe something performance related - either a quarter mile track trip or a dyno event. OR maybe as simple as a poker night / movie night at the house.

3.. Drive at 1:00. Mapped route and stopping points / times are handed out before departure.
