Dave - I arrived late (around 4:00) so it looks like i missed the Lexus contingent. I did bring my GX and felt like a whale driving through all the performance cars. However, I did see a car and a set of wheels there I wanted to get more detail on (but they were leaving right after I arrived) so I never got the chance. Specifically, I was interested in the set of wheels on the White BMW 540. Did you happen to get any photos of those puppies? Or do you know the make? I think that may have been a set of Hammans (?) that they were going to offer for auction? Do you know any of those details? I am lokking for them to put them on my 04TL.. Wish I had gottent here earlier.

Did you have anyone in the GX with you when you came? Saw some comment on the VW site about a couple of ladies in a Lexus.

Dave - Nope, but I think those may be the ones they are auctioning off. I'm afraid that the ones I liked may have been a pretty pricey set. They had more black enamel (?) spokes going in different directions and were on the white BMW540 in your pictures on the web (but you can only see a very small part of his wheel on the pics). Didn't know if you had more from other angles that may give a better view of the 540's wheels.

As far as the ladies...You can never tell who I will show up with but unfortunately I was alone that day

I uploaded all Krista and I have. Gimme a link to the one in my gallery where you see the 540, I don't recall the car at all.

I'll poke around on the VW forum pics or post over there to see if anyone else has a pic of 'em for you.

Dave - Thanks for the efforts. If that's all the pics you've got then that alright. I looked the the ones you posted again. The pic that has a partial shot fo the wheels in on the forth page, 4th row down, 1st and 2nd pics on that row. They are pics of the black Jetti (?). You can see the white Beemer just behind it. The Jetta has a two peice with black insert. I believe the BMW was a 2-pc wheel as well but may have been something like HR. From that nose it looks more like a M3 than a 540 though so maybe I got the cars mixed up and it was an M-series Beemer. In either case, you don't need to dig any deeper on my behalf. I'll drop in over at the "punch buggy" site and see what I can find myself. Thanks!
