Cool Where to get wheels/dents fixed near Charlotte?

Hey,

Got a curb rash on my stock 18" rims (2005 ls). Is there a recomended shop to do repairs in the area? Also, while on vactation, a security guard slammed a guy into my car and left a small dent. Any recomended quick dent removal places? (It was a bad week for the new car)

Hi Mat, welcome to ClubLexus! You're in luck as I'm in Charlotte as well.

Strangely enough, I stumbled across a business card I have for wheel reconditioning yesterday and still have it right here. I *think* he's the guy that Hendrick Lexus and Hendrick Acura use.

Prince Reconditioning Services, they're mobile. 6421 Medline Rd, Monroe NC 28112. 704 668 4514, guys name on the card is Kyle Gould

There is another place local that I've been to with a friend that I can try to track down if that guy doesn't work (bit of a drive).

I've had very good luck with my car at Dent Wizard on Independence road with door ding removal (about two doors down from Hendrick Lexus). However, Hendrick has a new guy there full time doing door dings and he removed my last one for about $25 cheaper than Dent Wizard and looked just as good ($75 vs $100 per panel). You might consider just calling service there at Hendrick and lining up getting those two things done.

Oh, and let me know if you decide to sell your 18" wheels and get some new aftermarket ones, I'm thinking about getting a set of the OEM 18s for my LS .

Thanks!

I actually work in Monroe, so I will give the wheel guy a call this week.

I am new to the lower profile 18" wheels, and the fear of curbs that come with them! My last several cars were SUV's with quite a bit of rubber between the road and the rim.

I'll also let you know what I end up doing about the dent and who I end up using.
