Question Good Alignment shop in Tampa for lowered cars?

Where do you guys with lowered cars get your alignment? I don’t want to go to the dealership because my car is lowered, so I don’t want them to align it to factory specs since its lower then stock, and for how much?

Thanks.

Well actually....you DO want them to align your car to factory specs, but the problem is whether or not your car's stock adjustments will have enough "give" in order for them to do that. Also, depending on how much you lower it, you may have to find a place where you can actually DRIVE UP the alignment machine without getting the frame caught (haha trust me)

Called the dealership, they said 89.99 and I have a 15% discount card. So its $79.50. Are they THAT good to warrant me going to them instead of the dealer? I don’t mind paying the extra money, and waiting longer in line to have it done the right way.

Right now I’m leaning toward the dealership.

Went to Lexus of Tampa, they charged me $120, and the car isnt aligned well at all. They blamed it on my L-sportline kit

The Alignment was $110, and $10 for insurance

Didnt they already know it had lowering springs and shocks before they proformed the work? They should have told me they werent going to be able to do it BEFORE i spent the $110.

$120 for alignment and it isnt right? What a rip off. I go to the new tires plus by me and they do a good job. I used to have a 1 year of unlimited alignments for $129 but I dont think they do that anymore.

Rich, you think Tires Plus is better than Lanning?

Chuck I cant speak on lanning. They do impeccable work installing my tires, they have put on 4 sets so far and the 5th ones as soon as the new wheels come in. They always do a great job and if they did alignments at the one on Lime Ave. I would get an alignment there but they dont. I dont feel like driving to the other location, but I may when I get the new wheels on. I will let you know if I do
