Welcome! If you're in ATL, the guys down there meet pretty regularly (monthly at least). Check out www.seloc.net for details. Don't want to discourage you from driving the 3 hours up to Charlotte
but this meet is going to be pretty informal, just a bunch of Lexus enthusiasts hanging out. You may be able to get that same thing more local to you.

I am in Savannah, GA. tha "Low Country". I travel to Charlotte often since I have family, friends and business in NC. I have not really met up with any Atlanta ClubLexus or
SELOC members yet, but plan to do so. Besides if i come to Charlotte, I will get the opportunity to see the Supercharged GS!

It's very near Concord Mills (just head the 'other way' off the interstate). Right next door to Hooter's (QS&L is more car club-friendly btw), across the street from Arby's.

I got the car back a few days ago--not fixed, but driveable. I'll come, fixed or not! Heck, I have no excuse not to come since i'm only 2.5 hours away in Raleigh!

Hey Dave thanks for the Pm. Of all the weekends I can't make that one. Been coming just about every weekend, bought a Townhouse at the lake norman (exit 33). Should be completed by march. After that Im game for whenever lol. Im actually coming down this weekend to have the GX serviced and run some errands probally stay right down from the quaker state at the Holiday inn haha. The 19th is my b-day so already made plans. To bad it couldn't be this weekend or that would be perfect.
Maybe someone from Charlotte could drive my car to the meet haha. Its actually at Hendrick getting a new tranny from the whole throw out bearing issue that the IS 5sp's had. Prob wont have it back here till after the 19th for sure.
Sorry to miss out on the fun but i'll be having one hell of a b-day bash hahahaha

No go on getting to this meet. One of my sons is turning 18 on Saturday and we have lunch plans with the family. Hate to miss it. I really enjoyed the last 2 Charlotte meets...

Saturday is getting closer! I was hoping to have my Pioneer tape to Nakamichi conversion completed in time, but there have been difficulties with the cabling. Only one problem remains: water restrictions here in Raleigh mean no washing the car yourself. I can't show up to a meet with a dirty car now can I? I'll have to get her hand washed for the meet! I hope to see you all there!

Yep they'll fine you. I could have it hand washed for $20 at work tomorrow, but it may rain, and whats the point of paying $20 to wash a car on a rainy day?
