Default New GS owner, any good shops/dealers in GA?

Hello all. I'm a new 98 GS400 owner. Just trying to find out what are some good shops/dealerships in Atlanta, GA? Any shops that have CL members working there? Anyone in Ga that can answer some general questions. I'd appreciate any info. Thanks!

Welcome!

I suggest you post a little more info about what kind of shop you're looking for.

You should also join www.seloc.net which has a lot of very active Atlanta members.

Block your calendar for end of September for Lexfest in Atlanta www.lexfest.net !

congrats & welcome to CL!

just moved from atlanta last year...wasn't there very long, but here's a little bit of help.

as far as dealerships go, hennessy lexus in duluth is fantastic. not sure if he is still in the service department, but nuum (vvt-i on here) was there when i lived there. nuum is a cool guy and very knowledgeable.

regarding speed shops, i had some work done at mahdavi motorsports in lilburn and was very pleased with their work. www.mahdavimotorsports.com

i also heard a few good things about batlground engineering in smyrna, but never used them myself. www.batlground.com

make sure to check out SELOC & i'm sure some of the locals will chime in soon.

Thanks, I appreciate it, and i'll definitely try to make lexfest. I'm just looking for a good shop that can work on my car, but not charge me outrageous prices like the dealership. I just bought my 98 Gs4 and i need some things fixed. LIke my abs/vsc lights need to be turned off, and also when i put my car in drive, it goes straight to the manual side, but the light for drive never comes up, so i've been driving in manual. I'm just trying to get my car riding right before I do any mods. Thanks

I too recommend Mahdavi Motorsports for you.

What part of town do you live in?

If Mahdavi can't do it, Hennessy in Duluth can.

What Jaime said. Hennessy Lexus of Gwinnett gives a 10% discount to SELOC members. Mahdavi Motorsports is a great shop as well.

Thanks for the info. I've called Mahdavi and I'm already pleased. They're prices are much much lower than the dealerships. Thanks everyone.
