They (the chalet) are booked for all the weekends I asked for from mid May-early June. Sigh....

So far, the Microtel June 1/2 is available.

I am going to do some serious calling this weekend when I'm off and see if I can find ANYTHING at this point.

maybe its a sign....are luck is just non-existent for that weekend. dave is destined To be at the dragon! :lol: wouldnt be the same without ya bud.

My vote goes strongly for MAY 4-6 weekend. there is only two events going. The minis will be there and a VW group but they ar staying in alcoa, TN.

I think we should get the fontana lodge, or microtel.

I concur with the masses,

Dave and Krista are just about the nicest, kindest and most fun loving people I've met.
They not only go out of their way to make you feel comfortable, but they are genuine and truely interested in their passion for cars and building a "community" that we can belong to.

I found a really cool place for us just 35 minutes or so from the Dragon.

It costs $1500 to rent out for the weekend but with 10 people thats only $150 for the weekend.

i think that place is a fantastic joint to have it at. And pretty reasonably priced as well. But june is a very busy month for me as well. I think the family has a vaca planned for that month sometime to boot.

But put give that place a ring 1sick when you get a chance and see what kind dates they have open than lets just have people vote on what date works for people. Or we can wait for the microtel to free up. either or.

we should try to stay in the month of May b/c HIN in Charlotte has moved to June this year and for the guys that attend both, a hotel for two weekends in the same month is alittle hard to do.at least for me!HIN is the weekend of June 14th!!!I know that Dave and I usually attend.
