^ raining here also. I'm not going worry about the meet tonight. If we do have it, no one will show because of the rain. We will just have to try again after Easter weekend. @ the frist of April. But, I will be at rockingham tommrow. So everyone should just change their plans and head down tommrow. Its only an hour from the triangle area.

 

I'll give you and Mike a call later. See what we can put together for tommrow. I usually leave Raleigh in the morning @ 9am and head down to The Rock. So if your on the way I can pick you up. Hwy 64 to Hwy 1 south....I don't know where you stay.

Also, in terms of Rockingham, I wasn't really planning on going, since it's like 80 miles each way, all back roads. where did you get that it was only an hour away. when I plug in the generic raleigh area to mapquest, it shows up as like 100 miles and almost 2 hours each way (although, mapquest time lies)

But, I may plan on it, especially if we're not going out tonight.

Plugging in Raleigh and then my zip code, it looks like we could meet up about 45 miles away from the Rock on US-1. That's where I merge from NC-24/NC-27, but y'all should already be on that road.

Jeremy, give me a call later to work that stuff out. I've never gone to the Rock from here before, so I don't know if those directions are even accurate or not.

Also, I'll check with Jared to see if he wants to come too.

Alright, as far as I know tonight's plans have been canceled, and I already called Katsumoto and talked to Jeremy.

Looks like the plan now is to caravan to Rockingham tomorrow

In the end, it will probably work out better that way: babes, cars, racing, and more babes.

9am is way to early to head out to Rockingham.. things only pick up at around noon..we're probably going to leave around 10ish or so..

 

Well for the few of us that made it out to Rockingham, we had a great time!!! Jeremy, loved riding in the car man, that thing can haul *** Next time we won't forget the camera and the sunblock, lol. I think I was starting to doze off there at the end of the ride back, my brain felt a little foggy when I was getting out of the car trying to remember if I left anything in there. I'll talk to you this week sometime to see what your plans are for Easter weekend.

Mike great getting to hand out with you, too! Send me some of those pics when you get them uploaded.

 

Matt, AJ, and zeb, it was nice to meet y'all. We should definitely get together again. And, next time, maybe Jeremy, Matt, and I will actually think about putting sunscreen on. I had some with me, but didn't think the sun was that bad, and I was too lazy to fish it out from my box of cleaning supplies hiding in the trunk.

But, I think it's actually more windburn than sunburn anyway.
