Atlanta Area: Where to find Window Tinting and iPod integration
Hey guys, can you tell me what the popular places for window tinting and ipod integration installs would be in the North Atlanta / Duluth GA area?

I live 2 hours away, but I don't know the tint places there. Novus is a pretty large company... You might have one in Atlanta,.. check around. They have good prices, lifetime warranty, and more importantly do GREAT installs. They deal specifically in glass.
As for IPOD integration. -- Not sure if you are trying to do this with a stock radio or what. But I just made this possible myself.
I bought a Alpine 9886 Headunit online, and installed it several days ago. It had a USB out, and IPOD out -- I extended the cables , and wired them into my Console. -- Works out wonderfully.
You don't have to buy this unit, ALOT of the units (head units) decks , have IPOD and USB support. It is becoming a common feature. You can also buy them online at stores like:
http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAu...roductID=18771
That is my unit, but you can find some great units at 1/3rd of retail. Like doubledin touch screens for under $400.. or a unit with your wanted capability for under $150.00 -- I highly recommend the alpine though, for sound processing and so on.
Here is a little pic showing the unit in my LS 400, and the console with the wires one is for any USB device, be it a hard drive, or more commonly a flash/jump drive. Just plug it in and it automatically picks it up and displays the folder name, and each song name.. lets you browse make playlists.. and on and on.
The other cord you see in there is for my IPOD. Direct connect, and picks it right up as well.. Very very easy to work.
And here is the wires for input of USB and IPOD. (I don't have them 'neatly tucked away yet -- so excuse the mess)
If you are not interested in a new unit,.. then I'm sorry I don't know how to rig an old unit for IPOD's. Though I'm sure it can be done.

As far as tinting goes, I have had a few cars done at Solar Eclipse across from the Mall of GA. So far, so good on all three installs.
