Default Any recommended suspension shops in Raleigh NC?

Hey folks,

I'm trying to find a reputable suspension shop to install some parts on the IS300.
Recommendations and contact info in the greater Raleigh NC area would be appreciated. If you've had personal experience with their install and setup, even better.

Thanks in advance and see you in the spring (no pun intended)

Cheers,

Max, contact me via PM or email on what it is that you need to have done on the IS in terms of suspension. I'd be glad to swing down by your side of town to help you out. If you're going to be installing coilovers, I suggest that you look into corner balancing your car also. Not to bash on Phantasm motorsport, but I'm not a big fan of their work when it comes to alot of things since I can do everything that they can.

I've had no problems with them Alexus, but yes every shop has their good and bad reviews. Also they are now trying to promote better standards and higher end cars so more care is given to each car that comes in.

Once I get my shocks in from being backordered, I'll need to have them installed with my new springs as well. I had them installed on my last SC300 for $120, so if I can find a deal like that again here in Raleigh I may just do it that way.

Then again, maybe some of my new friends here in town have air tools

Alexus, have you installed springs/shocks or coilovers a few times? I've never done it before.

Yeah, I've installed shocks and springs a few times on various cars. But the majority of the times I deal with installing coilovers since I do alot of testing for D2 Racing with all of their suspension and brake system.

I'd be down to help you out if you want. I've gone through 3 or 4 supsension setups in my car. Pretty much can do it blindfolded. haha. I have a minimal amount of tools here, but should be enough to get the job done. Let me know. Im in Raleigh near NCSU. Speaking of suspension, i need to order some supra LCAs and install them... ball joints shot = car rides like poo.

Yeah PJ, that would be awesome! My amount of tools is pretty minimal as well but I have everything that would be needed. I can't start buying air tools till I buy a house and have a garage

I keep looking for the shocks I want to come back in stock, but so far no luck.

How many miles are on your SC? Stuff like ball joints going bad, bushings, etc. is why I decided to not get such a high-mileage SC this time.

Are u the guy who got Big brake kit and suspension from Mike at Urban Import? cuz he said he has no one testing stuff for him or has any one with a lexus sponsored. Cuz i have been working with Mike since day 1 before he started distributing D2 suspension in the US.
