Exhaust shop in the Raleigh area?
Hey guys,
Thought I would make a new thread to get a little faster response. I need a good exhaust/general repair shop for my exhaust install next week. Phantasm wants (in my opinion) too much money for the work needing to be performed. They're quoting around $150, and I personally dont see this work costing more then $100. All I need done is:
I know $50 doesnt sound like much but hey, its a tank of gas
Anyone have a recommendation?

- Unbolt old exhaust
- Two (2) welds on the HKS Hi-Power being installed
- Bang on the spare tire well a couple times
- Bolt up the HKS

US1 northbound about a mile before the beltline is a muffler shop. After the Atlantic ave. exit, it's a few yards before the 2nd stoplight (Crabtree blvd or somethin?) on your right. They shouldn't charge much, then again they're not the most professional of people.

Sounds really nice, for $350 total out of pocket I am extremely satisfied. When you going to be in the neighborhood again? I'll try taking a short video this weekend, but I know it wont do the exhaust justice.
I have heard a rattling sound since the exhaust was put on, so I'm going back tomorrow to have them adjust the hangers and all that stuff. I'd still recommend this shop to others though.

Ended up being a broken bracket holding the cat up.

Dont ever go to BOBs in garner... thats the biggest Sketch hole i have ever seen in my life. In the future you could try Henry's Muffler off of capital before you get to Perkin's but after you pass the Chevy dealership... I had them put on my exhaust and were extremely nice.
