I have been talking to Freeze anothe CL member here and he just informed me a few weeks ago about the Supra meet in Concorde, NC. Are there any other CL members going out. Looking at the list of poeple coming it looks to be a decent turnout with 30 supras owners confirming. We have been invited and i was going to attend as well and was wondering if there were any other members down to meet up as well?? It would be awesome to meet up with some GA members or other SC members and caravan up and meet up to go check out these beasts!!! IO can get more information for anyone interested ot just PM me.!!!

 

I'm not going to be able to make it to this one due to holiday committments. I've heard of one other person from ATL thinking about going but not yet confirmed.... not sure if he'd bring his Supra or his Lexus though.

CL Member Wes (weswork) usually goes but he takes his beautiful Silver Supra built up by AAC in Atlanta and not his GS300 Sportdesign.

 

where in NC are you? I would love to meet up and find out what other members are going and maybe park or drive in together. What do you drive?

Cool, i hate that you couldnt make it Dave, it would have been cool to meet up and chat even without the legendary GS. I managed to obtain some memoribilia from the legend..lol I purchased the old leather skins so its a part of my GS now!This will actually be one of my first meets of this scale and caliber of cars other than car shows so I quite excited. Dave any cool spots in the areas to shootsome pics. I may have 2 photgraphers with me, I think you may know one of them. His name is Ben Howard from Greenville SC. You heard of him?

 

I went last year...it was a blast. But, they had it in late January so I could make it. This year it's still in December and I'll still be here at home.

 

Yeah, Ben talked to me at HIN one year about shooting my GS. I emailed him a few months later but he never responded.

If they're having this at the 'normal' place quaker steak and lube then Lowes speedway is 1 mile away with some cool scenery.

Yeah he is kind of all over the place. He told me last year that he was suppose to shoot your car, but he seems to be everywhere all the time, like scattered. Everytime i see him out he asks when can he shoot my car and well neither one of have had this happen. Its ashame because he takes some awesome pics which would have been crazy to see if he actually whould have shot the legend!!!. I actually dont think he will show up for this meet because he will be like 12 different places in like 2 hrs. Im actually excited about it and it is at Quaker Steak so hopefully i can get some good pics.

Its going to be at the Quaker Steak in Concorde near Lowes MotorSpeedway. It would be cool if all the CL members can meet up prior to the Meet and ride in together and park. So far there are 3 members that I know of!

I was there! Only for about an hour or so, from 3pm-ish.

I had to show up for at least that, heck, my work is a 2 minute walk from Quaker.

BTW HKS350, I bought some DOT slicks! 26 x 9.5 x 15 Hoosier Quicktime Pro's! Haven't been out to any tracks yet, still need to find some wheels.
