Hey wassup club lex, I've been hearing some real good things about this car show happening in Montgomery, Alabama. I actually went to the website and emailed the guys coordinating the show. He called me and told me what they planned and mentioned that they will have a dyno and that the 1/4 mile track will be open during the show for all out grudge races. the bikini competition has a bunch of hooters girls and a good amount of sorority and regular girls. plus they have tons of classes (mild/wild)and big awards... Cash prizes for 1st-3rds ranging from 100-500$ and HUGE trophies... bikini contest, DJ's, tons of vendors, and a 1/4mile drag strip open all day to run your car...

STREETLEGAL'S "Gears & Girls" show... it is gonna be bad azz... 300+ carz expected and room for much more... it is 40$ to enter your car and 30$ to enter your bike and will be well worth your money...

true... but you not everyone is going to want to run their cars
plus the cars that are entered for trophies.... they aernt gonna want to blow anything up
so there wont be 300 cars lining up to run
so its still something yall might wanna consider

Precision Dyno is off I-85 Exit 26, Belmont Abbey

503 Woodlawn Avenue, North Belmont NC 28012 is the address

You'll drive down Woodlawn and it'll 'V' off - take the V onto Boundary Street - entrance to the dyno is right there.


Mapquest directions are good to get you there too.

Maybe 3 hours? I haven't mapped it out yet.

I sent a logistics email to those folks who confirmed attendance... if you plan to come but haven't posted here please send an email or PM me!

One thing I meant to put in the logistics note - but did not... if you have a walkie talkie or portable CB, bring it along. YellowIS (Shawn) had this idea to communicate during drives and it sounds like a good one if we have enough of them. It's a Lexus CONVOY!

What's the plan for getting to Charlotte? It would be pretty cool to caravan up there, so maybe we could post our locations and tomorrows work schedule here and come to a common meeting place and time?

I'll be coming from the airport, and normally get off work at 4pm, but am pretty flexible. Next...

I get off work at 9pm. I think I may nap, then drive straight to Charlotte in the morning getting there for the dyno.
