I'm sorry to hear about you and your friend's wheels. I'm looking at getting the same Viper alarm system for my SC. It's pretty easy to break the locks off of wheels. My lock was lost and a local tire shop was able to break the locks. I would guess that whoever did it is familiar with how to break the locks off of wheels. Hopefully, everything is goes alright and you guys get your wheels back.

I would get the mcguard spline lug nuts!!!

If you are looking at an after market alarm system, i would look for one with tilt sensors. dont forget that backup battery incase they try to get under your hood!!!!

no key will prevent someone from taking your rims. I had my buddy come take off the OEM keys since I broke the key and he had all 4 lugs off in a matter of minutes. All you need is the right tool and say good bye to your rims
exactly. all it cost is $30 bucks for a lug nut extractor and your wheels are easily gone.

they are good lugs but it doesnt stop them. i got mine off with my extractor when my key broke.

i think lugs like these would help. i met up with a local member who had these and its impossible to get the caps off without their key. even a regular magnet did not work.

Those would come off in 5 mins in my mechanics shop, there is really not much you can do, shiny things attracts thiefs. Look at this way IF THEY WANT IT THEY WILL TAKE IT NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO, Its a simple question how badly do they want them? You can hide you car under a huge rock with 20 cameras and they will get all through them without you even knowing.

They got so huge ***** most of taken them at least 5 mins to do both cars and that a lot of time to get caught. I have to agree with other on here it look you were either followed home or it someone in you building who sold you out. Check around and see if anyone has new TV boxes or some new stuff that not cheap. People are stupid like that and always think they got away. Sorry to hear about this. Hopefully now you can get something you really want and maybe lay this car out on the ground with Hydros, or Air.

hate to see stuff like this. I think this kind of thing is on the rise with the crappy economy though. my place was broken into recently and about 2,000 dollars worth of electronics was stolen.
