Ok folks, you all know that I strive to provide valuable information to my fellow CLers. I found something that I think all of us with aftermarket wheels and tires will truly appreciate.
Background: There are two places that I know of in the ATL area that can do high speed on the car balancing. This is a process involving a normal off the car road force balance, then placing the wheels/tires on the car for the 2nd part of the balancing called "finishing balance". This process uses something similar to a strobe light to detect vibration and actually spins your wheels up to around 130mph and factors in all the other moving/vibrating parts of your hub assembly (rotors, bearings, etc). Additional weight is added (if needed) to achieve that perfect smooth as glass ride quality as if you are actually driving. This service at the other places is close to $150 for larger diameter wheels. Yes, I said $150
Now, there is another place that I just found out about that does this service also!
METRO WHEELS on S Cobb Dr in Marietta offers this service for about half of what the others charge.
They only charge $60 for FWD and RWD cars!!
$110 for AWD and Trucks!!
Since this process takes some time, I would call ahead to make sure they can get you an appointment..check out their website! http://www.metrowheels.net/services/...heel-alignment
I had my wheels balanced this way at another place, but I will certainly use Metro the next time I need this done..especially before a mini road trip!![Thumb Up](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
Later y'all!
