I am really happy to announce this meet and its not about them being a Vossen Dealer (though you can buy our wheels from them) but rather that they will be offering services for Lexus/Toyota owners. I've gotten to know Jason (the owner) and his crew at Buckhead Import Performance (BIP for short) pretty well in the past 18 months and they are one of the reasons I'm itching for some sort of AMG/M car I am just completely blown away by their professionalism and the results they produce.

I've visited numerous times and interacted with their customers and they are an amazing auto shop. They have two stores, one that has been in Buckhead for around 20 years and the one in Smyrna that does their performance work. If you attend this meet you will get to see their work and they can surely explain better than myself their capabilities but 600hp AMG/M cars, Turbo 911s, you name it they do it and do it well. They have some some wheel/tire install/alignment work and I have been super happy with them.

As a Lexus owner/enthusiast I approached Jason and chatted with him about maybe offering services to Lexus owners in the aftermarket scene. He has some techs with experience so they had a few team meetings to discuss it as they would have to invest in tools. Well Jason shared a picture a few weeks ago which gave me his decision, a big yes!!

I felt the best way to introduce them to our group would be to of course host a meet. So from 11-4pm Saturday, 4/6/13 at their Smyrna location they will have some of their best cars displayed and you can meet some of the team to ask questions and walk around the shop. Some of you might have been here before as they hosted a BMW/Benz meet last March.

Damn...thats my daughters birthday and we might be goin out of town. As much as I would love todo this one...I prolly wont.dang.

 

I'm in and interested in a dyno pull for ****z n gigglez. Also dying to hear that supercharged M5 rev again, that thing sounds so mean!

BTW, this is a Lexus meet so even if you don't care about the shop come hang out. And its open to other marques of course

 

I looked at my schedule and I have to work that afternoon. It just might take the dyno to tempt me into taking off work and going across town
