Has anyone gotten their car(s) washed/detailed at Cactus Car Wash in any of the Ga. locations? I won a gift card from work and wanted to know if people on here use or have used this business. I've heard some bad reviews only about the midtown location and how they seem to do a **** poor rush job since they tend to be busier and feel like more cars=more money. I'm a person who expects quality service, so that definitely doesn't make me feel the midtown location would be good for me. I would hate to use my gift card and not be happy with the outcome. I usually go to the New Car Wash in Conyers and that's an automated wash, but like I said I won a gift card and would love to get a great wash and wax, instead of letting the $60 gift card go to waste.

they are a high volume car wash, I wouldn't bring my ISF there to be detailed. Maybe get a hand wash and an interior carpet cleaning, something like that, I wouldn't get them to wax it

 

I detail for a living, and I wouldn't send my worst enemy to a large, assembly line type of car wash. Cactus, Car Spa, etc. volume is their only concern, most people are in too much of a hurry, or just don't know any better, to notice how poor the product is, and that's their hope. so what if 1 out 1000 complain.

 

Craptus Car Wash...mannnnnnn!!!! biggest mistake of my LS460s life....swirl city all damn day...after they waxed my car, it had more holograms on it than a star wars convention, they refunded me plus another 15% on top of that to say sorry.

I take my wax to the guys around the corner from me at work and they hand wash every millimeter of my car including the wheels and apply the wax for around $40...$13 for just hand wash and tire shine. The place is Marietta Hand Car Wash just north of Georgia's Own Credit Union on Cobb Pkwy (41), they operate out the old car wash at the Shell Station...they always take their time and my 600 stays looking great with these guys.

 

I've never taken mine to Cactus but I've heard some horror stories. If you are referring to the automated Car wash on 138 I would also stay away. Anything automated I would stay away. The machines tend to leave swirls in your paint. It's best to hand wash if you plan to keep that piant looking nice. You are going to pay a little more but it's worth it.

 

LOL @ Craptus Car Wash! I actual sold the gift card to my co-worker's friend, who has been wanting to take his car there to get fully detailed by them. Since he was talking crap about my Lexus being a uppity Toyota, I cant wait to see all the Holograms on his black, ugly beamer. I will definitely be looking into a hand wash establishment that is either close to Conyers or downtown near my job. Marietta is not close to me at all. Anyways thanks all for the feedback and hopefully I can post a pic of the hologramed BMW the next time I see him, since he said he's going this weekend if it doesn't rain,

just letting you know that I just received a judgment against Cactus Car Wash in Buckhead yesterday morning. I wouldn't recommend taking your car there. They ruined the finish on my 06 GS430 with only a car wash. It has been since August but I had my day in court yesterday and now the fun begins actually trying to get paid on that judgment. Terrible experience so beware
