Hello Fellow Members,
I am looking for a reliable and good independent mechanic to complete a brake pad and rotor replacement on my 2015 Lexus GS 350 F-sport RWD. The dealer is quoting around $1600, one independent mechanic quoted $1000 but scared me by saying that my calipers too may need replacement because they may not work properly after pad/rotor replacement (including rotors he quoted around $1600), a third independent mechanic quoted $1300. Looking for more options before I go with the dealership (because so far they seem to be the best option and less headache - although I would have loved to give my money to an independent guy vs. dealership).
