I REALLY want to put a body kit together on my GS4. Problem is I have NO idea who to take my GS to once I decide on on a front lip spoiler, side skirts, and rear bumper. I live in the Phoenix area, I don't want someone to F up my beauty. Any ideas/connections?

I didn't have a preference either when I got my kit. My friend who owned a shop passed away and I didn't know who to go to. I talked to several shops and decided on the one I felt more comfortable talking with. The shop I chose was small and appeared to be not the best...judging by appearances. The owner had a cherry red Corvette Stingray that he restored himself. Any guy with that much passion for cars was the right guy for me. So take your time and visit several shops. You'll know who to trust with your baby.

Hi Kendra,

I live in Arizona too and although I've never had any work done at the shop I'm about to mention, I met the new owner last week and he's a nice guy who's been a service advisor for a one of the local dealerships for the past 20+ years.

He's definitely all about quality since he's helped his son restore a 1968 Mustang fastback and he's also built himself a Cobra kit car (both red with white stripes).

The shop? Apex Motorsports. They're located on University drive in Tempe, just .2 miles west of McClintock on the south side of the road. There's a Ichi Ban Sushi restaurant in the front of the commercial property and the shop is on the right side all the way down at the end of the lot.

Lemme know if you plan on going, I haven't met up with any other GS owners yet (other than my dad). Would be fun to compare notes and cars.

Thanks guys, I'll start researching, and Clifford, I'll let you know if I plan a trip out there, I live in Mesa so I know where you're talking about -- I've driven by that Ichi Ban many times!
