I think he means 16 seconds. I'm almost ready for Firebird. Just a little more work to do on it. I won't go out to speed world again. I'd rather not race then go there.

 

whats wrong with speedworld? I never been there.

Firebird is.. a tad of a drive for me.

Im also going to PIR for autox on the 16th.

And I already have 16 in wheels theyre stockers, I have slightly lower profile falken GRbetas good tires, stock 225 width though.

 

Speedworld is just was not well run IMO. The track is never prepped well and some strange bug bit me through my jeans last time. My leg swelled up so big I couldn't believe it.

 

Every Saturday, if you guys are down, a meet it held on Dobson/Guadalupe around 10:00pm. All the modified lexus owners need to come out of the cave that they hide in, because I don't see enough around.

 

Dang!!!...thats a little far for me. I would love to go but with gas going at what it is, I think i'm gonna have to sit it out for a while

 

Its frustating as hell running mid high 16s because the car can't launch.

Especially when I can hang and or beat/match cars that are a 1 second plus faster then me on the quartermile if we were to race from a roll...

2000 rpm stall torque car doesnt really want to move till around 4000 rpm L is a very long gear.
that wait time feels forever... I almost wonder if thered be any difference if i didnt brake stand at all...

What did suck about speedworld.. is.. the left lane the trap speeds were not working.

And as for meet my car is not really of show quality just a daily driver Im having fun with well at least for now... Paint is starting to get a little faded.

 

I might be selling mine here in a little bit. As much as I love it, 2 doors and a kid don't work so well together. I guarentee you could break 16's in my car.

 

Who usually meets at Dobson/Guadalupe around 10:00pm???
