Hey all ... I have been slammed at work the past couple of weeks ... I am still working on the event and will post more information as I get it.

Yeah...just like Supras Invade Las Vegas. I attended it with my Sup and it was a blast. The Luxor was the host casino. Special group rates and reserved parking. Dyno, drags, poker tourny, show and shine, scenic cruise. Us Norcal guys want this!

Yes. I understand that many of you are excited about the idea of a meet in Las Vegas and are dying to know more about it. I am very excited about it too. Everyone needs to understand that these things take time to plan and it isn't easy finding a venue for something of this nature. There are a lot of factors involved between liability, location and determining if a venue even wants to host something of this nature. I have contacted many hotels. I have contacted kart places. I have even contacted bowling alleys. Can we just show up somewhere that morning? Sure. However, that doesn't lead to an organized event and it definitely never a "sure thing." Many ideas have been discussed, but there tends to be the common idea that it would be better if it was planned out rather than "okay, lets do this and hope it works." I was in Vegas this past weekend and scouted out a location that I am excited about. I am on the verge of securing that location, hotel arrangements and event entertainment.

I also want to clarify something that keeps getting brought up with me via PM and AIM. This is not a CL event. Club Lexus is invited to the event and I want all of you to attend, but CL isn't putting this together. LEXAZ is doing the grunt work and trying to pull this off. This event will be open to all Lexus enthusiasts regardless of forum affiliation. my.is, luxuryjcars and other groups are invited as well. The goal of the event is to gather as many Lexus owners and fans together as possible. If you have questions or suggestions about the event, PM me. I'm more than happy to listen to what others have to say or talk about things. Spare the CL mods from the traffic and go to the source.
