Default Hand carwash in Plano

FYI, I had to get my car washed yesterday and did not have time to do it myself. I took it over to Willow Bend Mall which has a handwash place near Neimans. Here is a link for a coupon . http://www.shopwillowbend.com/IM/sto...?store=kiosk08

It was $15.95 for the exterior wash, without the coupon, and they did a great job . I cannot go through any of those other car wash places because my front lip is too low so I have been hand washing my car. Well, now when I am busy I can take it over here. You can drop it off, shop or eat in the mall and come back to a clean car. They also can schedule to have door dings removed while you wait. They offer a bunch of detailing service but I typically do all my own detailing but in a pinch they can do it for you.

I've always seen there flyers in the Willow Bend mall but never knew where it was. I just went on their website & it says they use less than a quarter gallon of water, interesting. Thx for the info!

I don't trust anyone to wash my IS. Typically they dont' use microfiber towels, or a quality mitt. Also, their towels are typically dirty and full of dirt which will give you swirl marks over time.

You can always just drop your car off at sewell and have them do the wash for free. They hand wash it too.

Thanks for the tip though.

Yea, I hear ya but these guys used a wool wash mitt and microfiber towels for drying. That is exactly how I wash mine. My car is a 2001 and the finish has no swirls or small scratches but part of that could be the Zaino I have on it. I would much rather have these guys wash it than any dealer. I was very impressed with their service and I am pretty picky and always hand wash my car..even with the water ban here in Plano

I had no idea that place existed. I've not had my car washed by anyone but me so far, and with it getting "cold" here in TX, water bans all over the place, and my time limited around the holidays, I'm going to have to give those guys a shot.

seadee. Actually I work in the cityplace building right there in uptown. On fridays on the bottom of parking garage D there are some dudes that have full hand wash. level 8 parking D at the city place building. Enter the garage right at the part off haskell. like next to that target. I think it's 15 or 20 bucks.

There are several spots around here in Plano. I typically have the dealer get the big dirt off then take my girl home and give her some quality attention... every 3rd wash gets a wax cleaning treatment with Zaino (when I have time without munchkin interruptions and other breaks in the action)!! I still don't trust too many folks with my girl even after 13 months!! Hell, I don't even Valet Park with her!!
