Attending Barrett-Jackson in Scottsdale on 1/19-21
I'll be flying in to attend the Barrett-Jackson Auction and meet up with 4GRAINR and hopefully a few other AZ peeps that I have contacted.
Anyone else want to meet up, let me know who's interested and we can make arrangements.

HAHA Hameed. Funny you should ask.
I'm actually scouting out the event to see the possibility of selling a particular car "one day". Plus meet up with 4Grainr to discuss the SinCity meet.
Plus it happens to be one cool car show where you have an opportunity to purchase the car of your dreams.

Hameed,
Actually the GS in a few years. Not sure if the car has any collector value, being the original RMM car with pink slip documentation and Rod's autograph on the dash doesn't hurt either, but I know Barrett-Jackson is predominantly for 70's and earlier American Muscle.
Besides some Exotics and one off prototypes, I haven't seen any Tuner cars, but who knows if it will pick up in the coming years.
Enzo? Probably not, but I have had my eye on a Hemi Cuda for a long, long time.
Thanks for the offer Clifford.
I'll contact you if I need help. Are you thinking of attending? I have tix for Friday and Saturday.

Glen, did you watch the auction last night on Speed channel (I think the auction was in Florida).?
They had a 2006 Stage 3 Roush Mustang and it went for $61K. Nice car. 417 HP I think.
They had a mint 66 Mustang that went for $22K. Awesome paint job too.

Okay ... my Barret-Jackson weekend just got screwed up.
I was originally going to be in New York for a business trip this weekend, but the people we are meeting with pushed the meeting back to Friday the 19th. I'm scheduled to fly out Thursday, have the meeting on Friday and then fly home Saturday morning and arrive around noon or so. I would love to meet up with everyone for dinner, evening at Barret-Jackson, or whatever works.
We could also do a Harlow's run for breakfast on Sunday too!
Glen - I'd love to sit down and talk about Vegas. I think I have some good news, but I need to dot all my i's and cross all my t's first.

If you want to plan a location and a time for dinner and post it now, perhaps some others will show too.
Don't know Harlow's, but if you recommend it hows Sunday Breakfast or brunch? Just give me the time and directions and I will be there.
I'll check with Cliffud to see if he wants to attend the show or not.

Hopefully in a couple years time the Tuner market might grow . My car is a Tuner and a collector in the sense that it was the original Rod Millen car, etc.
I don't neccessarily expect to get big bucks for it, but I just want to get a decent return on my investment. I need to sell the car "as is" versus parting it out and returning the car to stock. There is way too much work involved at this point to reverse everything.
