ok do you guys/gals want to try this again? Would anybody be interested in having a mini-meet from the dfw area? I am going to ping texasGS and have him email his list he has. I know nobody really checks the local forums on here, So, I might hit the main one. It will get xfered back to here though.

I'm in for a meet. I will shoot out an email to everyone on my list to get some feedback and tell them to checkout this thread. Do you have any ideas on a day, time or location? The biggest problem I have had in the past is finding a location that everyone could agree on.

last time i had said grapevine mills mall. There is lots of **** to eat around there, big parking lot, and some roads out behind there we could go cruise around on. It's between ft.worth and dallas which is pretty fair. We could also meet up at like Ranger stadium. That's about half way between dallas and ft.worth. I think most people live in north dallas though so grapevine might be better.

I would say plan for the meeet to be like in 3 or 4 weeks so we can get a bunch of people on board.. Hopefully people will respond. Seems like nobody checks the regional forum. I am going to give a heads up in the main forum, and it should last about a day there.

im down for a meet.. i live in north dallas.. i guess if i had to vote between grapevine and arlington, i'd go with grapevine.. but whatever works best for the people organizing this thing.. im looking forward to meetin up!

I'll be in for a meet if it's not one of the weekends i work. I work every other weekend so just let me know when it's going to be. I really need to get over there and meet yall guys.

I think Grapevine is a good choice. There are plenty of places to chow down at and we could all head over to the lake to take some pics. Once we figure out a date, time and location I will contact the moderators to let us post up on each of the different forums. That is usually not a problem. I know I am out of town the weekend of April 21. Maybe the first week in March?

March 18 works for me. Remember that March 17 is St. Patty's day so there may be some hangovers going into Sunday

The good thing about March 18 is that daylight savings happens on March 11 so we will have more daylight

February 3rd or 4th was mentioned in the email. Seems a bit last-second for that, but if it comes down to it, I'm free on the 3rd (the 4th is probably out of the question for many people anyways, being that it's the Superbowl...).

I think it's also supposed to get VERY VERY cold this weekend. The weathermen in Austin (I was visiting home this weekend) were saying it will be the coldest weather in 10 years.

So in all likelihood, this weekend won't work.

---> How about the very next weekend? February 10th or 11th? It would be nice to do this soon since we seem to keep putting it off.
