OK, here is the offical posting for our first 2007 DFW area meet. My email list has grown to over 40 members so we should have a fairly good turnout. Here are the details.

DATE: SUNDAY, MARCH 18, 2007

TIME: 2:00 PM

LOCATION: BIG BUCK BREWERY. (LOCATED ADJACENT TO BASS PRO SHOPS IN GRAPEVINE) http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=e...501&iwloc=addr

I think we can all meet up for a while, have some lunch and then head over to the lake shore to take some pictures. After pics some people have suggested heading out to the Dallas Auto show which ends Sunday at 7:00PM. If you are not on my master DFW email list, shoot me a PM with your name and email address so I can get you on the list. If weather messes up this day, we will do it the following Sunday. What time are we meeting at?

Looking at the picture, I may be the oddball out with the only SUV. And I just found out that my girlfriend may need my car that weekend so I will be even more of an oddball showing up in her Mini Cooper.

A mini??? You can't bring a German car to a Lexus meet! Consider yourself uninvited.

I'm really lookin forward to this meet, though. Definitely lookin like there'll be a high turnout.

EDIT: By the way, has anyone posted this up on any of the main forums? I think there are a lot of DFWers at the IS and GS forums... It would probably get locked before long, but it would be a good way to spread the word while it was up if no one's done it.

Not sure which thread we are supposed to update now, so i will reply to both.

I just had an idea. If we met at 12 , we could do a photoshoot out at the lake or in that parkinging lot, eat , drink a beer or 2, then have a big *** caravan to the dallas autoshow. I think the autoshow ends that day at 6. If we left grapevine at 3pm we could make the auto show with plenty of time. Just a thought.

TexasGS: you have the other people in the other forums updated? Don't you know the moderators on here? Would be nice to get some gS's sc's, hell ls', any lexus out there as well.

I created this post so that DaveGS4 could place it as a sticky. I asked if he could place it in each of the various vehicle forums. I am just not sure he can do that or not.

This is a Lexus meet so bring any Lexus you have. I guess we will let a Mini Cooper show up if you have to do it, but at least come out.

Yeah, it would be great if we could get one of those little "Announcement" links at the top of the boards that so many of these other meets get (like that Orlando picnic right now). I guess we just don't have that kinda pull here in DFW, heh.

Dave just PM'ed me and he said he will post it up as an annoucement like the Orlando meet. He is just real busy doing his paying job right now and should get it posted on the other forums within the next couple of days

BTW if anyone has a factory fog bulb out Don't go buy one. I'll give you mine at the meet if you want. I replaced mine, and figured i'd give my old ones away to someone in need.
