***SIN CITY - AZ to LV Convoy Info***
Please post all information or comments regarding the convoy in this thread. Thank you!

**SCHEDULE**
Depart from Arizona Friday 4/27/06 10AM
Return to Arizona Sunday 4/29/06 after the meet.
If you have not booked your hotel accomodations, a majority of the people will be staying at Aladdin and the Westin. If you prefer to stay on the strip, go with Aladdin and the price is approx $209 a night. The Westin is located approximately a block and a half off the strip and the cost is roughly the same. so of the SoCal group will be staying at Alladin since it is on the strip.
Road trip checklist:
1) FRS Radio/Walkie Talkie
2) Blue tape to prevent rock chips
3) Radar detectors (I'd like to have 2 in the group- I'll probably pick one up on eBay in the next few weeks)
4) Make sure your spare tire is full of air
5) If you're running aftermarket wheels with a stock spare- make sure you have the proper tools to remove the aftermarket wheel AND the proper tools to throw on your spare.
6) Nav units if you are not familiar with Vegas.
PM me if you are planning to drive up with us. Even if you don't plan on driving up with the group, I suggest you still book a room at either Aladdin or the Westin hotel where a majority of us will be staying.

Unfortunately I won't be able to convoy with you guys on the way to Vegas as one of my passengers does not get off work til 6pm on Friday. <GRRRRRR>

The email confirmation is not instant. We process each registration, thus the 24 hour window to get back to you. If you don't see your car on the list, PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO REGISTER AGAIN. Have some patience. I have already heard of people trying to register multiple times. Each time you do so you slow down the entire process.

ok...well..can i be updated on convoy info...i thought we were meeting at 10am but after talking to travis yesterday he said that we may meet up later in the day than that...

FYI:
I will not be going to the inaugural Sin City Meet. The original meeting location to begin does not have to change, Desert Ridge is on the way up to Vegas - somewhat.

all signs pointed to "do not pass, do not collect $200".
Work needs me, both my real job and the lighting biz. I also just did a nice custom valentine 1 radar detector install in the car and I need to get a visor tinted on the windshield to hide it more so that's gonna happen on Saturday morning.
Don't worry though, you all will have fun. btw - I'm donating 2 HID kits for the raffle - hope you win Mo.
