New to the forum mostly on My.IS but us IS guys are holding a meet

Yeah I'm afraid that we've lost a little momentum with the apparent loss of TexasGS (Bill), despite having had our largest get-together last time.

We are, in fact, overdue for another get-together of our NorTexLex group. We need to schedule a July meeting.

 

Depending on the date, I will come out...I can show off my almost back to stock GS400 (18's, TC, intake, and soon borla exhaust will be removed).

 

Let me know, I might make the short six hour drive if its a big meet.

 

If we had one like last time, it would be cool. I'm down for a July meet.

btw, if any of you guys see a silver 2003+ Mercedes E class with the license plate starting with 216 and a messed up front end, let me know. The ****** rear ended me and ran off. The cops don't seem to care about a Mercedes hitting a Lexus on McKinney Ave on a Sat night.

I'm down for a meet pretty much whenever as long as there's notice well ahead of time... but not before I get my wheels, damnit!

 

I would like to meet up, i work every fourth saturday but im off sundays. anytime is good. I wish i could make the last meet.

 

Well, I had a CL member drive up from Houston today to look at my car and he is going to buy it. He will be coming back up here next Sunday to pick it up. It is going to be sad when I see it pull away for the last time but it is time for me to try something else. I will keep checking back here and if a meet goes down I will still try and make it. I would like to be able to pass on the master email list to someone who wants it. I really did not expect to sell the car so quickly so I am not sure what I'm going to get next. I am not real sure the deal on the E55 I was looking at is going to happen so I am up in the air on what to do. Anyway, it was great meeting everyone at the last meet and hopefully I will see everyone at the next one. If someone wants to be keeper of the list, please email me at blavrino1@verizon.net. I am down to meet again. Sucks we are losing TexasGS as list keep because he did a good job. If no one steps to the plate, I can do the list.

as far as the next meet, I would say a BBQ would be a decent idea. Sucks because we know the heat we are about to start to feel, but I think we are all used to it. Last meet was nice. I still love that panoramic pic.

I know there are a lot of people in dallas and ft.worth so if we do a meet I would say close to where we had it last time would be nice. It's central to all.

I would say like an afternoon bbq at a public spot?

also, when fall time comes back around and temps cool down, I would seriously like to start having monthly's at any of the 1/8th mile tracks/1/4 mile tracks around (cept that one my friend had a gun pulled on him in gp) Or at least a big meet at ennis one saturday.

Let me know if you guys have a date in mind. Last week in june sounds cool to me.

 

yeah i would like to do an ennis meet when they are doing street night.
