Texas Lexus Club?

Texas Lexus Club?
Hello Admins!!
Would there be anyway to start a Texas Lexus Club Forum in the "Local Chapters and Regional Forums" section? I'm sure there are well over two or three hundred members that reside in Texas.
My case:
I feel by creating this forum it would better allow all groups throughout Texas better communicate, faster and easier, with each other. This would allow us to better plan events and meets. It would also allow new Texas members to easier find the Texas section and help make events larger and more successful. We have so many big cities in Texas that have so many members. I'm sure there are hundreds of members in Texas who have not revieled themselves yet because they don't know that Texas falls in the Southwest section OR they feel that their posts will just be lost in a fairly obscure forum (Southwest).
Perhaps we could try it on a limited time basis to see how it works? If you would be willing to try it, could you also advertise it for a short time in all the Forums so Texas members can kind of celebrate a "Grand Opening".
Thanks!
Justin

Texas Lexus ClubLexus Forum!
I recently posted a thread in the "Site Questions, Suggestions & Problems" forum making a case and requesting a new Forum be created called "Texas Lexus Club" in the Regional section.
I don't know if Dave minds me asking everyone, but if you feel this would be a good idea and you reside in Texas please go to the link below and agree. You are free to disagree if you don't think it should be formed also.

Justin,
Thanks for your interest, I've merged your threads as they were really the same post in two places. As we've done with other groups, the members really need to be the rallying point to create an active membership group before we create a special interest forum. Decide what they want the group to do. Decide who is going to raise their hand(s) to really organize things and keep the interest level high. TX is so geographically dispersed I'd also recommend some discussion on core cities.
I'm sure you can appreciate we can't create a forum for each state or local area just because "it's hard to find" ... That's also why we put up annoucements across the forums for the larger meets.
I'd advise you to speak to folks at your next local meet and see if they're interested in signing on and define what you want the focus of the regional group to be. After you define that put up a post in the SW forum and get 30 - 50 folks to sign on to be active & participative members and we'll set one up!

Guys, just want to make sure you know exactly what you are signing up for? You've already got a forum in the SW to do exactly the same thing you'd do in a Texas Lexus Club forum .
How about some discussion and planned organization about what you want to do as a Texas Lexus Club!
