Being a Florida vehicle (no front plates either) happy to have you also join the club.

If you can provide evidence that you have a front plate(ie: bringing the plate with you), then the ticket will be dismissed for a $10 court fee. The negative aspect here is that you will have to waste HOURS sitting in court on your appearance date in order to do so. This is why I hate these citations. They are purely frivilous. I asked a cop once why he felt it was necessary to pull me over for no other infraction other than lack of a front plate when there was no way to physically mount the plate on the front of the car and the plate was in the trunk of the vehicle. He had some assinine response about bank robberies and that I would need to contact my congressman if I had an issue with it. Multitudes of stupid cops like that ruin it for the few decent ones.

I've thought about running for the TX house. There's not much involved, most of the paperwork is handled by the party.

Would you guys vote for me?

No front plate, raise speed limit to 100mph and you would get my vote.

I haven't run with a front plat for years. I got a ticket for it about 7 or 8 years ago. Most cops I find don't care unless you **** them off and they will pick your car apart to give you as many tickets as they can.

You can't pay me enough to drill holes in my front bumper. I've gotten two tickets for it and all I did was tape it on and take a picture......then its dismissed.

well it depends, that is what I thought about it getting dismissed everytime you go to court w/ a picture of the vehicle w/ the front plate on. But some places like Carrollton in Dallas Tx, they just reduce the fine from $90 to $65. But other places like Farmers Branch and the Colony. They will dismiss it. Like he said though, its a waste of time sittin in court waiting to get it dismissed.

I have been pulled over several times for no front licence plate w/ my RSX and Accord and gotten tickets for them. But nothing in the Lexus yet. (crossing my fingers and knocking on wood) I say that b/c I just put wheels on my car so now I'm a suspect.

I got tired with all the BS and put mine on. Sure dont like it.. But beats the hassle from the cops and time at the court.
