Yes Sewel is on board but they are being hesitant because we just hit the 50 mark. They would like a bigger turnout.

Not yet. I will like to take that title after this is all said and done. The person from Sewel really didnt sound to chipper bout talking to me. I think he was just trying to rush me off the phone, but hey thats just me. Like I said before maybe once we get a bigger commintment then they would be more into this idea. Question? For you local guys what do you think of YellowBelly? So far this tracks seems to be more promising.

 

YellowBelly is a no no. Bad track and too many stabbings and thugs. Better off going to Kennedale Raceways.

 

I am up for Kennedale. It is only a few moments from my house!

Actually the track is being worked over and re-done so it is/ will be a whole lot better. We are not going doing middle of their traffic on Sun evening. We are planning to have somewhat of a private party that will have security for just such reasons. I tried Ennis but since they are so popular and they are always on ESPN, and SPEED that wanted way to much money.
This was one of local tracks I had on paper but 1/8th track is not an option. So Kennedale is out of the question.

 

Where are these Tracks?

 

Kennedale is close to ft worth off of mansfield hwy.
Yellowbelly is on jefferson off of Loop 12
And ennis I forgot what freeway that is but its past red oak on either 35 or 45 cant remember off the top of my head

 

I'm sure most of the guys are wiling to a good distance away for a decent track, I've never been to any of the DFW tracks, so I say just pick one of the better ones, and a decent price.

 

I thought yellow belly is a 1/8th mile, how much did ennis want?

Yellow Belly and Kennedale are both 1/8th mile. The only 1/4 mile track is Ennis.
