I live in Dallas and would be happy to do what ever you guys need from me to get things setup. I know all the cool places and tracks to go. I also have friends that work for hotels that might be able to assist us in where to rest our heads(Hilton Hotel ftw) Also for my self Im in. Even though I just bought my sc400 two days ago and It has a long way to go but Im still down for what ever. If any mod needs me to do anything just let me know and I can pm my cell and I can work my magic from here.

Hey knightridr, I've already called sewell lexus, I talked to some lady about it, but she said she didn't know, and she would pass my number on to someone who could help me, but I never got a ring back, and I've been too busy at work and forgot all about it, see if you can make a follow up call to Sewell

Great replies gang. Looks like we are getting some traction.
I want to update you all a bit on our progress. Knightrider from Texas has joined the crew to help set this event up, and he has already set up a track for us that only requires a helmet when beating 13 seconds in the 1/4 mile run. We will have the track to ourselves, but we will have to rent it. I do not know what that fee is yet. We will be looking for sponsors to assist with costs. He is also looking into securing a special rate at the Hilton, and in setting up catering for the event on Sunday. Many thanks...
Scott Marshall and I are also on the help crew. Anyone else want to officially assist? We need volunteers...
Here is a general description which I will copy and paste into the original post of this thread:
Guys, now is the time to start listing your names on the list confirming you will be there. Let's make this a big, fun and successful event...Sign up, please.
Updates to come...

Gang, we are looking for a big turnout from the local Dallas crowd. This will help cement a host with one or the other of the Lexus dealers in town. So, sign up and let's get this done...
BTW, I believe the local Lexus dealer that agrees to host this event will probably want to show off the new ISF...

I always in. Also The bigger the event the better chance I have to secure a very reputable magazine to show up as well as fit some of the bills. Also I got a call today I will need to know the exact amount of rooms that we will need so it is very imperative that we get this rolling as fast as possibe. And sharing a room is possible. If any questions and/or concerns give me pm.
